This song was originally about an incident with an earring but I've retroactively realized this song is about drinking.

I am, er, was, the "let's run into the woods without a phone and tell no one where we're going" type of drunk.

I still run into the woods, but now I remember to bring my phone with me and tell folks I'm going outside ;)
